What visiting parents should know
A timed-ticket parent-and-child discovery space inside the National Museum of Nature and Science in Ueno. A guardian aged 18 or over must accompany the child — children alone or adults alone are not allowed, with a maximum of 3 children per guardian and 6 per booking. Fees: ¥300 per adult and ¥300 per child aged 2 to elementary (0–1 free), plus museum admission (free for elementary and under, ¥630 general).
Language reality: English ticket and information pages exist, but spoken English in the hall is unknown — do not expect an English-speaking desk.
Requirements: Guardian 18+ must accompany (child alone / adult alone not allowed); max 3 children per guardian; max 6 per booking; shoes off; bring QR ticket (phone or print); separate museum admission; cancel day-before 23:59 (¥100/paid ticket); date change until 09:00 same day (≤5 times)

Reserve a timed ticket through the official ART PASS flow. Next-month slots open at noon on the 1st; same-day purchase is possible if there is capacity, up to 10 minutes after the session starts. Shoes off, bring your QR ticket. Cancellation until 23:59 the day before (¥100 per paid ticket); date changes until 09:00 on the day, up to 5 times.
