Cooking · Chitose-Funabashi, Setagaya
Read this first: The publicly listed ~¥6,800 Japanese group class is not eligible when the parent has little Japanese. The visitor path is the private lesson at ¥25,000 tax-in for about 90 minutes, run in simple English and gestures. This is not an English cooking class.

What visiting parents should know
This is the clearest access gate we have found in Tokyo. Public listings show a parent-child group class at around ¥6,800 — but the provider confirmed that if the parent has little Japanese, that group path is not workable for safety and flow reasons. The real route for a visiting English-speaking family is a private lesson at ¥25,000 tax-in for about 90 minutes (one parent and one child). Do not book the cheap group listing expecting it to work without Japanese.
Language reality: Private lesson only: simple English plus gestures. The instructor is not a native English speaker. The regular group class requires Japanese.
Requirements: Regular JP group NOT ELIGIBLE for low-JP parent; private lesson alternative only
